About Us
Childhaven International is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation dedicated to helping destitute children escape the cycle of hunger, sickness, and lack of education that plague their lives. Donations to Childhaven International are tax deductible, in keeping with current IRS codes.
Since most of those involved in the work of Childhaven International are volunteer workers, there is virtually no administrative cost. In this way, donors can be assured that their donations will be used to provide for the needs of children.
All directors of Childhaven International are non-denominational Christians who are associated with non-denominational churches of Christ. These directors are all mission-minded people who have worked as missionaries in foreign nations. As missionaries, they saw (and still see) the dire need for help for the sick and hungry children who wander streets begging for food. These missionaries then incorporated as a Missouri not-for-profit corporation and have been providing hope, health, and happiness for scores of children since 1992.
